On December 7, the entire Wallester team gathered at the Lillepaviljon in Tallinn for our highly anticipated annual awards ceremony. This year’s Star Wars-themed evening was full of energy and memorable moments.
We had the privilege of bringing the entire team together, with colleagues from our offices in the UK, France, and Riga joining us. Their presence made it even more special to connect, celebrate, and recognize our achievements in 2024.
Sergei Astafjev, our CEO, and Dmitri Logvinenko, COO, highlighted the year’s major milestones in their speeches and expressed their gratitude for the team’s unwavering commitment.
The awards ceremony was a highlight of the event. In total, the awards in 22 nominations were given away, including categories such as:
- Best Newcomer – Andrei Gornostajev (CTO)
- Best Ambassador– Julian Brand (UK CEO)
- Best Employee – Jevgeni Barkin (Software Engineering Team Lead)
- Best Team Lead – Vitaly Zaporozhets (CRM Team)
- Best Team of the Year – Engineering.
The speeches, recognitions, and applause made it clear that this has been a year of great achievements for Wallester. Of course, we also had time for fun. Beyond the awards, the night was a celebration to remember, culminating in an unforgettable disco party that left us energized and eager for what lies ahead.
