We’re very excited that Visa, our global partner, has made its intentions clear and is taking steps towards investigating how NFTs might disrupt retail, social media, entertainment, and most importantly – commerce. You might have seen in the headlines recently that they purchased a highly sought-after CryptoPunk for $150,000. This punk is one of 10,000 collectible characters and Visa now owns it through the Ethereum blockchain.
Here at Wallester, we ourselves purchased 33 Astro Bulls for 3.05 ETH, which equates to around €8,000. These come from the Astro Frens project, which is an innovative new take on NFTs, wrapped up in some very aesthetic intergalactic bull symbols. It’s an exciting project that aligns well with the sort of company that we are, and it signals our mission to support new ground-breaking projects wherever we can.
