Wallester is a member of the Payment Association

We’re excited to share that we’ve joined The Payments Association, home of the #PAY360Awards 2022 and the most respected group in the payments industry.

Wallester is pleased to be joining forces with such a prominent organization that shares our goal of advancing the industry. We’re excited to expand our knowledge, collaborate with some of the most innovative companies in our field, and learn from their forward-thinking leadership.

Concerning The Payments Association

The largest payments community is the Payments Association. The organization was established in the UK in 2008 and currently runs communities there, in the EU, and in Asia. It works with around 300 businesses to advance their commercial goals, address societal issues like financial exclusion, and assess new chances for payment innovation.

Its goal is to strengthen the most powerful community in the payments sector, where connections, teamwork, and learning create an industry that benefits everyone.

It acts as an impartial spokesperson for the payments industry and encourages cross-sector cooperation to effect positive change and new developments in the field. The Bank of England, the Financial Conduct Authority, HM Treasury, the Payment Systems Regulator, Pay.UK, UK Finance, and Innovate Finance are just some of the organizations with whom they collaborate closely.

They enable connections and construct bridges that bind the ecosystem together and strengthen it through their extensive program of member-focused activities, under the direction of an independent Advisory Board made up of the industry’s top CEOs in charge of payments.

Monthly digital and live events, such as the PAY360 conference and awards night, CEO round tables, and training exercises are among these activities.

There are six different Project groups that stakeholders may participate in: Inclusion, Regulator, Financial Crime, International Trade, Digital Currencies, and Open Banking. The volunteers who make up these groups voice the opinions of The Payments Association members as a whole during pivotal times in the industry and collaborate to spur development in these spaces.

Additionally, they carry out specialized industry research that is made accessible to our members via their Insights knowledge base. These consist of bimonthly whitepapers, perceptive interviews, and guidance from the most successful CEOs in the sector.

Cheers to helping mold the future of money transfers!
