Wallester Welcomes Edgars Valmers as Chief Commercial Officer to Drive European Growth

We’re thrilled to announce that Edgars Valmers has joined Wallester as our new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) – a move that strengthens our leadership team as we scale our operations across Europe.

A Proven Leader in Fintech and Banking

Edgars brings over a decade of experience in the banking and payments industry, most recently serving in senior executive roles at Magnetiq Bank. During his time there, he led the development of the bank’s acquiring services from the ground up and oversaw complex client relationships as Head of the E-Commerce Department. Later, as a Member of the Management Board, he took on broader responsibilities including customer service, card issuing, credit processes, and marketing.

As Chief Commercial Officer, Edgars will head up Wallester’s global commercial strategy, including sales, client partnerships, and go-to-market execution. Operating from our Latvian office, he’ll play a central role in expanding our presence in key European markets and deepening strategic collaborations with fintech platforms, enterprises, and financial institutions.
